Long-term Occupational Outlook is complied every other year. It is a ten-year Occupational forecast. The current long-term outlook for Georgia and 20 Workforce Investment Areas (WIA Areas) are projected from the year 2010 through 2020. Short-term Occupational Outlook is compiled every year. It is a two-year Occupational forecast. The current short-term outlook for Georgia and 20 Workforce Investment Areas (WIA Areas) are projected from the year 2011 through 2013. Due to confidentiality rules, some occupations are not listed.
 
The education category of the Education and Training Classification System is listed next to each occupation. Education codes used are: 1-Doctoral or professional degree; 2-Master's degree; 3-Bachelor's degree; 4-Associate's degree; 5-Postsecondary non-degree award; 6-Some college, no degree; 7-High school diploma or equivalent; and 8-Less than high school.
